After the death of Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak, Mahatma Gandhi took over the responsibility of'free - India1 movement. Gandhiji's object was non-violence and to achieve goal of making India free from, British Regime. Keeping this aim in mind, Gandhiji started non-cooperation movement with the British and the impact was so much that the citizens of whole India were backing him . People of all walk of life, right from downtrodden to high dignitaries -all in all, say the mass population threw themselves in this movement.
Ahmednagar district is well known as a revolutionary district. Many well known and big personalities have participated in the freedom movement. Simultaneously the students inspired in mass left the learning in colleges and launched themselves in these revolutions. Amongst these, late Shri. Rambhau Hire, Dadasaheb Chaudhari, Bhai Sattha, Nanasaheb Chauker, Kakasheb Chinchorkar were the prominent dignitaries. To make conscious and to stimulate the mass, public in getting, 'Freedom for India' and making it self-reliant, they established 'Rashtriya Path Shala' (School) and that was the landmark event in 1921.
In the early beginning stage, Rashtriya Patshala was set-up in 'Kapad Bazar'. In this Patshala 'SutKatai, 'Vinkam1, Mudran Kala and like commercial training was given. Teachers were, Bhai Satha (Nousherwan Satha) and Dada Choudhari, were teaching and coaching enthusiastically. This Patshala was recognized by Tilak Vidyapeeth. However, Tilak Vidyapeeth was not having any recognition of the Government.
Training was departed to the students who actively participated in the freedom, fighting campaign. And the result was enormous because the youngsters who trained were loyal to the nation, believed in self sacrifices and were devotes towards national integrity.
